While these businesses are highlighted in the month of August, you can (should) be supporting them all year long!
If you do not know the Black businesses here in Grand Rapids, let me educate you.
Grand Rapids Black Owned Business
There are more than 400 Black-owned businesses in Grand Rapids.
Grand Rapids Area Black Businesses (GRABB) is also an entire organization dedicated to uplifting and supporting these businesses, founded by Jamiel Robinson
You can search on GRABB's website for all of the Black-owned businesses in the area that you can support!
However, I want to share with you my favorite Black-owned businesses in the city!
One of the southeast side staples in the community is Muse GR, which is an interactive art gallery and event venue owned by Stephen Smith!
You can never go wrong with supporting Muse GR's events!
Since 2018, Daily's Beauty has been allowing their clients to feel beautiful on the outside and inside!

Founded by Julius Rogers, Justice 4 All is more than just an apparel line for justice.
"We provide apparel and accessories for today's racial justice activists that challenge, provoke, and disrupt America's post racial fallacy."
Justice 4 All also hosts the Justice 4 All Juneteenth Jam every year, which is an amazing time!
