
Grand Rapids Gran Fondo Will Affect Road Closures This Weekend

West Michigan's premier cycling event, the Grand Rapids Gran Fondo, is returning to downtown Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Gran Fondo is happening this Saturday, June 22nd from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
You can take one of four routes that are great for every rider level.
RIDE START TIMES
80-Mile: 8 AM
40-Mile: 8:15 AM
25-Mile + Family Ride: 8:30 AM
Besides the ride, it will end with the Finish Line Festival - an outdoor after-party with good food, craft beer, music and so much more.
Road Closures Happening This Weekend
Before you go out this weekend, there will be a few road closures that will be affecting Grand Rapids' traffic flow.
These road closures are for the safety of cyclists, so a few downtown streets will be closed or access will be limited between June 21-22nd.
Here are the closures that will be happening in Grand Rapids.
Fulton Street W will be closed between Monroe Ave NW and Ionia Ave NW from Friday, June 21st at 6:00 PM until Saturday, June 22nd at 6:00 PM.
Fulton Street W Eastbound will be closed between Seward Ave NW and Ionia Ave NW from Saturday, June 22nd, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Keep in mind that the Grand Rapids Police will be monitoring crossing traffic at Fulton ST W., Market Ave SW/Monroe Ave NW.
Fulton ST W will be down to one lane and all traffic heading East will be re-routed.
On Saturday, June 22nd, Seward Ave NW Southbound will be closed between Bridge St SW and Fulton W from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
All road closures will be marked with barricades, signage, and the streets controlled by Grand Rapids Police officers.
