Dozens of Grand Rapids and West Michigan Republicans gathered at the DeltaPlex on Friday to burn their absentee ballot applications.

The ballot applications were sent to all registered Michigan voters due to the coronavirus pandemic so that no Michigander would have to choose between their health and their civic duty.

A couple of these groups gathered in Walker on Friday for "Operation Incinerator", a protest where Michiganders burned their ballot applications and voiced their concerns about voting by mail.  More of these demonstrations are expected in the lead up to the November General Election.

If you didn't receive an application to vote by mail, but wish to do so, you can request one through a portal set up by the Michigan Government.
