Kid Cudi Buys $10,000 Worth of Popeyes for Homeless
Kid Cudi shut down the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with performances with Kanye West and more during weekend two of the annual event. Before he hit the stage in Indio, Calif., the Kids See Ghosts rapper donated a plethora of food for those in need.
On Friday (April 19), Cudder began his weekend at Coachella by feeding homeless people at least $10,000 worth of meals from Popeyes. The menu included plates full of chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes and fries, which were served at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission.
Cudi teamed up with Postmates to make the hefty delivery. The food delivery service dropped off the carload of food so that his fans in need would have a hot meal before he hit the stage.
During his final set at the second weekend of Coachella, Cudi brought out Kanye to run through tracks like "Reborn," off their Kids See Ghosts album, and "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1," from Yeezy's The Life of Pablo. The following day, Cudi returned the favor by pulling up to 'Ye's Sunday Service.
Before he lent a helping hand to the homeless in Coachella Valley, Kid Cudi also assisted Machine Gun Kelly and G-Eazy in demolishing their ongoing beef. A source recently told XXL that their issues were put to bed about a month ago in Europe after Kid Cudi brought them together at a private dinner.
