Michigan Drivers Beware – Massive Recall On These Popular Vehicles
Last year, Ford recalled more than 870,000 full-sized F-150 trucks because of the electronic parking brake.
However, now the F-150s are back in the news for a different problem.
F-150 owners cannot catch a "brake." (You get the joke 😂)

Massive Vehicle Recall Affects Ford Drivers In Michigan
Ford has officially announced a recall of 112,965 F-150 pickup trucks!
These models also are equipped with the Trailer Tow Max Duty package.
What Is The Reason Behind The Recall?
These specific F-150s are affected by the recall because of a rear axle hub bolt that can become a roll-away risk.
In the NHTSA's recall alert announcement, the agency shared that the rear axle bolt might
"fatigue and break, which can result in damage to the axle hub splines."
If this damage happens, it could
"result in a vehicle roll away when the vehicles in park without the parking brake applied, or cause a loss of drive power."
Because of all of this, these issues could cause a greater risk of a car crash.
Is There A Way To Fix This Issue?
As of right now, no.
CNN says that
"A fix is “currently under development,” and the agency said that F-150 owners can take the vehicle to a dealership for an interim repair if they hear a clicking or rattling noise associated with the rear axle bolt."
Once a fix is made, they will share it with all dealers and customers as soon as possible.
What Should You If You Have A Recalled Ford F-150?
The company is mailing out letters to F-150 owners at the end of January. Customers also asked to contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
You will need to reference the recall number: 23S65.
