A credit score is honestly the most important three digits you need to know in your life.

Those three digits rate your 'creditworthiness.' A credit score is based off your credit history.

Those numbers calculate:

the number of accounts
the total debt
repayment history and plenty of other factors.

Investopedia explains the range of the FICO scores.

"FICO scores range from 300 to 850. The higher the score, the more likely you are to get approved for loans and for better rates."

Excellent: 800–850
Very Good: 740–799
Good: 670–739
Fair: 580–669
Poor: 300–579

When it comes to getting a mortgage, credit card, auto loans, apartment tenant screening, insurance, etc., these all use your credit score to form your approval or denial.

What Michigan City Has The Best Credit Score?

Business Insider shared that the average credit score in Michigan is 718.

The Michigan city that has the best credit score, according to WalletHub, is Northville with 770.

Northville is a suburb outside of Metro Detroit, roughly 11 miles west of Detroit.

According to the website,

"the Northville area is known for its rolling hills, attractive green space, small lakes and landmark trees. The city retains a small-town atmosphere with stately Victorian-era architecture in its Historic District and a variety of well-kept homes."
