Swizz Beatz Is Trying to Set Up a DJ Clue vs. Funkmaster Flex DJ Battle

Swizz Beatz's recent beat battle against Just Blaze clearly inspired him. The veteran producer is now attempting to orchestrate a DJ battle between DJ Clue and Funkmaster Flex.

During a conversation with Clue posted on social media, Swizz egged on the DJ to participate in the battle. Clue said he was down, but only under the right terms. Funk Flex, however, was more than eager to battle.

"IM SO READY!!!!!" Flex wrote on Instagram. "He don't want no DJ action at all!!!! I'm ready Date and Time let me fucking know!!!!!!! Hahaha!!! Tell him to bring that Clue Bomb too!!!!!!!"

Clue would elaborate on the situation, explaining that the video was shot when he was tired. The Queens native made it clear that he is willing to battle if the money is right.

"I told Swizz exactly what I wanted for the situation to happen," Clue wrote on Instagram. "The short video above is me tired of talking 45 mins about the same sh*t..send the bag and let's get to it. They said "Bring your best work Album Cuts & Freestyles ". Shawn Carter & Swizz just called me on 3 way. I'm not bout that talk life when it comes to getting to work. Send the bag..it's a go."

A friendly battle would be a welcomed development for Funk Flex, who has been involved in some ridiculous beefs over the past few months. The veteran DJ got into it with Lil Yachty and Bow Wow after sparring with Drake.
