Last month, it was reported that Diddy and Steph Curry were interested in buying the Carolina Panthers football team if it goes up for sale this year. While many see this a positive move for the sport, T.I. says he doesn't want any part of it.

A TMZ cameraman caught the Atlanta rapper in Los Angeles and asked him if he was interested in owning the Carolina Panthers. He quickly said "no."

Although he supports Diddy and Curry's ambitious move to own a football team, it's not something he would likely invest in.

"I don't wanna spend a bunch of money on something that I can't do what I want, when I want," T.I. explains. "I don't want to answer to the NFL. If I spend tens of millions or hundreds of millions, I want full rein and jurisdiction over everything ... you can't do that with the NFL."

T.I. added that if Diddy and Curry have the financial resources and abilities then they should be allowed to place a bid for the Carolina Panthers just like the next person. But he has no interest in buying one.

"Plus they have more money than me," he jokes.
