Last Grand Rapids Trump Rally

For the third time, Former President Donald Trump is set to have his last campaign stop in Grand Rapids.

The rally is happening tonight at Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids. Doors are set to open at 6:30 PM with the former president scheduled to speak around 10:30 PM.

As of our publication date, Trump supporters are already lining up in front of Van Andel Arena for a chance to hear the former president speak.

What Roads Are Closed For Trump Rally?

With the former president being present in downtown Grand Rapids, you can absolutely expect traffic delays and road closures.

As of now, besides the road closures due to pre-existing construction projects, all Grand Rapids residents should be aware of the following road closures:

• Weston St
• Oaks St
• Ottawa Ave
• Fulton, between Monroe and Ionia.

The streets north of Fulton should remain open.

These three roads, that are adjacent or right next to Van Andel Arena, are set to be closed starting at 3:00 PM. The roads will remain closed until midnight.

The long closure duration is due to the event schedule since Trump is not expected to give his last campaign speech until 10:30 PM.

With those closures going into effect, Grand Rapids residents should try to plan their travel routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time for any necessary trips.
