Recalled Blanket Could Be Deadly For Michigan Kids

Target is recalling weighted children's blankets! Why?

Sadly, two young girls, aged 4 and 6, died from asphyxiation while they were playing with the weighted blanket at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina in April 2022.

The two girls were able to unzip the washable cover on the weighted blanket, crawled inside, and were trapped in the weighted blanket.

So, Target ordered this recall so that this tragedy does not happen to any other children or families.

What are the blankets in question?
