Why Were There Ambulances All Along 131 This Weekend?

With the number of ambulances that were along US-131, you might have thought something extremely serious had gone down.

Thankfully, there was no big fire that needed to be put out alongside the highway.

However, you would be correct that something serious was indeed happening.

Have you heard about the Great Lakes Burn Camp?

According to the official website of the Great Lakes Burn Camp, it is a volunteer-run organization that supports and creates a fun environment for burn survivors.

Each year, the Great Lakes Burn Camp hosts two camps, one in the summer and one in the winter, for burn-injured children.

The camp is to promote healing, confidence, self-esteem, and more for their children.

With every donation, the organization has been able to host these camps since the late nineties.

Every donation is used to cater to the children's needs, even beyond their injuries. Campers are provided clothing, toiletries, coats, boots, free backpacks with school supplies, and more!

Without the support of their volunteers, community, and sponsors, the amazing initiative that the Great Lakes Burn Camp provides, would not be possible

If you want to donate to this amazing organization, you can learn more on the organization's website.
