Grand Rapids’ Long Road Named Best Brandy Distillery in U.S.

Grand Rapids Long Road Distillers was up for not just one, but four national honors!

While they didn't sweep each category, the distillery on Leonard Street did take the top spot for "Best Craft Brandy Distillery" in the 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards by USA Today.

The top 20 brandy distilleries were chose by a panel of experts and then voted on by the public.

Long Road came in at No. 1!

Long Road Distillers makes a small-batch brandy from fresh local apples sourced from the Fruit Ridge of West Michigan. The brandy spends nearly a year in used whiskey barrels to allow the flavors to develop and mellow."

The Grand Rapids distillery also came in third for Best Craft Spirit Distillery in the U.S., third for Best Craft Vodka, and second for Best Craft Gin.
