If You’ve Been Protesting, Please Get Tested For COVID-19
With states starting to reopen and massive protests being organized and attended across the country, it might feel like there is no longer the looming threat of a worldwide pandemic, but that just isn't true.
Despite the fact that COVID-19 infection rates have been dropping, we are setting ourselves up with the real possibility of a second wave of infections this Summer because of the protests. Mayors, Governors and the Surgeon General warn of the possibility of the spread of infection at the protests, and are urging citizens who attend to quarantine for 14 days and/or get tested for COVID-19.
You can find a testing site near you by using the COVID-19 Test Finder on Michigan.gov or by visiting the CVS Pharmacy at 1550 Lake Drive SE in Grand Rapids.
