Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to Build 60-Foot Long Pool at Hidden Hills Mansion
Never one to be upstaged, Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian have some huge renovations in the works for their $60 million Hidden Hills, Calif. estate.
According to TMZ, the West family was given the green light to extend their pool, which will resemble a small lake when it's done. The in-ground amenity will be roughly 20 feet wide and 60 feet long, valuing at over $50,000. The couple, who welcomed their third child Chicago in mid-January, have also shelled out nearly $12,000 for a guard shack for additional security. The construction for the man-made pool began in June.
You may remember in 2016 Drake coyly slighted Kanye West about the size of his pool. On "Summer Sixteen," Drizzy boasted about his own Hidden Hills crib. "Now I got a house in LA, now I got a bigger pool than Ye/And look man, Ye’s pool is nice, mine's just bigger is what I’m saying."
Drake's comes with a man-made grotto, a wet bar and two statues of kneeling, curvaceous women, among other things. Kanye responded to his longtime collaborator during a phone interview with Big Boy. During radio show, Big Boy asked if Drake's pool was actually bigger than Ye, to which the "Yikes" rapper responded with "I have three pools."
Let's see if Drake tries to one-up Ye this time around.
