The Prodigy mural has been resurrected! A day after vandals defaced the mural, artist Jeff Henriquez, Eli Salome-Diaz and others were able to clean it up and restore it to its original state.

In the Instagram photo above, you can see that the Prodigy mural, which is located across the street from the Queensbridge Houses project, looks brand new again. Henriquez credits the hood for showing their support in getting the artwork restored to its natural glory.

He wrote, in part, "The hood love is strong! 15 hours in one shot to bring back our fallen hip hop general. Big thanks to the homie @elementsofstyle_nyc for keeping things on point. A special thanks to my very good friend @djhotday who pulled up the truck and kept the lights on until the very last can. And to all the positive souls brothers and sisters djs tv types and local people. I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

As we previously reported, the Prodigy mural was defaced by what looks like white paint splatter hours after the unveiling of the memorial tribute to the late Queensbridge legend. “This is some sucker s---,” said Cormega in response to the mural being damaged.

Let's hope that the Prodigy mural doesn't get vandalized again. There's no word if police are investigating the criminal act.

Salute to the Queensbridge hood for giving up the goods and honoring the Mobb Deep legend.
