T.I. Thinks There Is an Agenda Behind Meetings With President-Elect Trump
T.I. wasn't falling for any of Donald Trump' BS before he was voted into office, and the Atlanta rapper is staying 10 toes down in his convictions against the reality show star now that he is the president-elect. Earlier today (Jan. 16), the Kang hopped on Instagram to sound off on the recent meetings with Trump from Black celebrities like Kanye West and Steve Harvey.
"Attn. Be clear.... There IS an agenda behind all these meetings. I shall explain in detail. Be aware. Be alert. Or Be Bamboozled!!!!," the video is captioned.
Tip starts off by addressing all minority entertainers. "There's a strategic plan that people are trying to make you a part of, okay," he says. "So do not accept any invitation to have any meeting, no matter how positive you think the outcome may be, without understanding that people have a really Willie Lynch agenda, okay. You being there, taking picture and smiling and being positive, it may seem positive to you, but there's a hidden agenda, man. You might not know it. But now you have been warned. Do not go in there unless you have a strategy."
Harris is clearly unnerved by West's meeting with Trump shortly after he got out of the hospital back in December. Steve Harvey sat down with the president-elect last week in a meeting that was reportedly about helping the inner cites.
T.I. further expands on his us or else attitude in two follow up videos. In the third video, he adds, "It's nothing wrong with sitting across from anybody no matter how different your view may be from theirs and how different your backgrounds may be. As long as they give you the basic human decency of respecting your values, respecting your ancestors legacies and then not represent hate groups that are adamantly against the progression of your people. With that being said, Kanye what the fuck you doing? Steve you know way better than this."
In related news, that surely made T.I. proud, 2 Chainz recently turned down a paid gig a Trump's upcoming inauguration.
