The City of East Grand Rapids is having its event on the actual Fourth of July.

The 2024 celebration will include a parade (duh!), activities happening at John Collins Park, and a fireworks show over Reeds Lake.

The Fourth of July parade will start at noon beginning at the intersection of Sherman Street and Wealthy Street. It will end at Reed Lakes Boulevard. If you want to see the full parade route, you can check out the map.

From 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, there will be family fun activities such as inflatables, food trucks, and a water ski show by Grand Rapids Show Skiers.

As for the fireworks show, you can watch them from the high school track practice field or the middle school field.
