It’s Not Too Late to Get Involved With the #GRSummerProject
The GR Summer Project is back again this summer and it's not too late for you to get involved.
If you're not familiar with the project, it's a program that connects kids in grades 6 through college freshman with funding, mentors, and opportunity to implement the change they want to see in our local communities.
Students identify and share a problem that they want to solve and are then teamed up with other students to solve the problem. Focus areas include such subjects as sports, music, business, and community advocacy.
Each team will share their project with the community and the projects will be voted upon. The top projects will receive $1,049.
The project also aims to spotlight young musicians in the community. Any student grades 6 through college freshman can submit their music to have it heard in a big way. Artists will be featured on Magic 104.9 and the top vote-getter will also win $1,049 and the chance to perform at the #GRSummerProject Talent Showcase July 20, 2019 at H.O.M.E. inside the B.O.B. Students interested in submitting their demo can do so here.
