Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Derrick Shorter is an American rapper, producer, and audio engineer.
As a kid, he used to go to his father's studio (his father was a producer). While his father and his friends made beats and recorded music, Derrick would soak it all in.
Derrick was given a beat CD with beats all produced by his father, which started it all.
He has produced a number of songs for both signed & unsigned artists, including the songs "Bubbly" and "All Dogs Go To Heaven" by DeJ Loaf.
